Project Products
The project products are planned to be
- a website,
- a book compiling the stories invented by the children,
- a book with lyrics of the songs in the original language and in English accompanied with
- a CD including the six traditional songs along with the project song,
- a meeting of the children recorded in a Travelogue (travel diary or journal) written during the visit,
- a common (multilingual) project song,
- video of the final concerts,
- online quiz recapping all knowledge.
Disctribution of Tasks
All partner schools
- have responsibility for ensuring the project activities are completed on time;
- are responsible to ensure their teachers are competent in using the necessary ICT equipments;
- are expected to devise a programme for further planning and reviewing of the activities and to facilitate cultural exchanges in collaboration with the other partners when hosting a project meeting;
- have to set up a Comenius Leadership Team (CLT) to ensure that at some level all staff and pupils are actively involved in the project partnership;
- ensure that a good standard of work is achieved and that communications and dissemination of materials takes place as planned;
- need to follow and contribute to discussions on the Common Discussion Group (ComDiGro);
- meet regularly to plan, develop and evaluate the project;
- have an equal say in its planning, monitoring and development;
- are responsible to monitor the activity/activities chosen.
The coordinating school of Makó (Hungary)
- organizes the kick-off meeting;
- sends reminders of target dates at least one month in advance;
- ensures that the work planned is adhered to, addresses any communication problems and also to collate final reports;
- ensures contact is maintained with all schools and the project goes according to plan;
- has a key role to play through initiating regular communication.
The school of Zsombó (Hungary)
- establishes web hosting for the project and coordinates partner schools contributions to the website;
- gives help with web 2.0 tools;
- hosts a project meeting in March 2012.
The school of Nîmes (France)
- coordinates the production of the final book containing all illustrated songs;
- is responsible for the final version of the DVD containing all national songs, the project song and the dances;
- distributes the above mentioned DVD;
- organizes the final project meeting in June 2012.
The school of Armagh (Northern Ireland)
- is responsible for checking the accuracy of all work in terms of the use of English.
The school of Zambrów (Poland)
- devises questionnaires for pupils and parents twice during the project lifecycle;
- hosts a project meeting in September 2011.
The school of Stigliano (Italy)
- organizes a project meeting in May 2011 and also hosts children from Hungary, Northern Ireland and Poland.
