Activity 7: The Science of Music

Aims and Objectives
In this part we are focusing on the connection of music (rhythm, sounds, beat etc.) and the different numeracy and science areas: Maths, Physics etc.The main objective is to make children experience this connection and share their views with the others while also picking up some useful vocabulary.

1. Numeracy
- Do these 2 activities on the Interactive Whiteboard. (Do you need help to move between ActivInspire and Smart Notebook platforms? Click here.) Take about 5 photos while doing these activities and send them to the website.
Watch the Polish students during work :)
- Sing and/or clap your Comenius song. Use a metronome to help you. Record it and send the video to the website.
2. Science
First go and see Introduction 2. Then watch these science experiments, choose one and and try it! Create a video and try to use English while commenting it.

3. VC lesson 7

Evaluation and Deadline
The deadline of the activity is the end of January. This part is evaluted through an online questionnaire and in the overall evaluation table.

The first rhyme in the English language I heard was the alphabet. Since then, I thought that only the alphabet in a foreign language can be learned in this way. This part of the project made me realize that with the sound, you can learn many words.
